Field Training – not SAS style!

September 13, 2009

When I first told Hubby that I was going to the Wellington Field Training on Thursday, he teased me about heading to Afghanistan some time soon…. “Field Training” apparently means “SAS Special Forces Training” in bloke speak!!

So no, Field Training Stampin’ Up! Style involves no mud, climbing exercises or even breaking out into a sweat. That is, unless you are doing some of the presentations…. like my up-line, Keryn! She did a great job of demonstrating a WOW technique called “Smacking Acetate”…. weird name, but very cool result.

One of the neat things about getting along to a session like this was meeting Emma (country manager) plus Hollie all the way from Sydney, as well as all the local demonstrators that are out and about in the region and not necessarily part of the wider INKspirables team. And in meeting them, we get to see the other talent that is out there – showcased in no small way in the swaps for the night. Simply amazing! We also got to Make and Take with a really cute new stamp set – which I would love to show you…. but I can’t! It’s part of the Summer Mini which will be launched in December…. You’ll just have to wait until then!!

But so you can see some more of the team I am part of, here’s the girls from Keryn’s Krew that made it to the night:
